Sept 18-21 Circles of the High Country, and emerging from poverty in Watauga County

High Country Circles is a successful community initiative through Boone’s Hospitality House bringing low income families and individuals together with middle and upper class mentors for 16-weeks to help build “social capital” on their journey to financial self sufficiency. We believe that in order to eradicate poverty in the High Country it will take people from every class coming together with that specific goal in mind.  So whether you’re looking to get ahead in life and break out of the cycle of poverty or you’re a member of the community looking to lend a hand to your neighbors while reaping the benefits of a united community there is a Circle for you!

See both the Mountain Times article and High Country Circles website for additional details.
