Three Kings Day
Three Kings Day, an epiphany celebration traditionally observed in Latino cultures, will be hosted by High Country UCC this year! Please plan to attend on Jan. 3, 2015, from 5-7 pm at HCUCC to celebrate with our Latino neighbors and our sister churches who are all cosponsoring this event with us. We will have Mexican food for dinner, there will be face painting and other activities, as well as a dramatized appearance by the Kings.
Traditionally during Three Kings Day, the Kings will give out gifts to all the children in attendance. Our congregations have been asked to collect gender neutral gifts (or at least a variety for both genders) in the $10 range for children through age 17. Our congregation has been assigned the following specific items, unwrapped, between now and Dec. 21. You can bring them to the church and put them under the tree.
