Newcomers

Welcome to our community!

We come together as a safe, loving environment, to discover and cultivate spiritual growth, and to establish community by reflecting and celebrating God’s love. Our mission is to inspire positive change in our world as we are led by Christ’s example of love, compassion, and acceptance of all people.

This is our mission statement, and we know it’s a lot to live up to! We strive each week to provide an extravagant welcome to all who come through our doors. You are welcome at High Country UCC not in spite of who you are but because of who you are regardless of your faith background, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, mental health status, or any other category that has been used to separate you from the love of the divine.

We look forward to meeting you and getting to know you.

FAQs

When are your services? How long are they?

We gather every Sunday at 11:00AM, and our services are about an hour. We often gather after worship in our lobby to catch up and meet folks we haven’t met before.

What should I expect during services?

Our services are casual and allow you to interact as much as you feel comfortable. We usually have a 4-5 person team for musicians that play piano, flute, guitar, oboe, fiddle, and upright bass. We have candles lit for individual prayers, and we vary from deep contemplative times to great laughter.

Is there an online worship option?

Yes! Scroll up to our “Watch Live” button on this page, or visit our YouTube page to see all our past worship.

What should I wear?

We’re pretty casual around here. Folks show up in whatever makes them comfortable and that ranges from shorts and t-shirts to slacks and button downs. Come as you are.

Where should I park?

Follow the drive up to the left and you’ll find a large parking lot with some more accessible spots toward the front door. You can enter through the front or back door.

Are the services kid-friendly? Do you offer Sunday School?

We do not offer Sunday School, but we invite children to be part of everything we do! We have a children’s time during the service, and we have folks who work in our nursery to keep children while service is happening.

Is the building accessible?

Yes! Both of our entrances are easy to enter from the left parking lot and have no steps. We have accessible parking at the front of our building that is close to the front door. If you might need an extra hand with a wheelchair or to walk into the building, you can let us know ahead of time by contacting us.

Join us for worship.

We gather every Sunday morning at 11 a.m. See our calendar of events or Contact Us with any questions.
